I want to alert you to a critical school board election happening in the West Linn-Wilsonville school district.

I'm proud to endorse Dan Schumaker and Maegan Vidal. As a former school board member myself, I know how critical it is that we have thoughtful, hard-working, inclusive leaders for our schools.

Maegan Vidal works in pediatric health care and has served our community on the Wilsonville Library Foundation. The West Linn Tidings endorsed her saying, "she has clearly done her homework when it comes to some of the most important issues in the district (such as reading curriculum, equity and mental health)." Dan Schumaker is a retired principal and teacher who worked over two decades in the WLWV school district. As the Tidings wrote, he's "dedicated and practical" and his long experience in the district will serve our community well. I know he'll be a great leader for our local schools.
