With just about two weeks until Election Day, I want to highlight another critical race to keep our Democratic majority in the Oregon State Senate.

Senator Deb Patterson is a mother, retired minister, and SEIU home care worker who represents parts of Marion and Polk counties.

She was elected in 2020, and has already proved her leadership ability. As the chair of the Senate Health Care Committee, Deb championed legislation to expand health care access in Oregon, cap the price of insulin copays at $75 per month, and hold Big Pharma accountable for the high cost of prescription drugs.

Deb's opponent and national Republicans are working hard to discredit her and stop Deb's lifesaving work. Her race has become one of the most competitive in Oregon.

For the sake of Oregon's most vulnerable communities — and frankly, all Oregonians — we must reelect Deb Patterson.
