Oregonians have elected renewed Democratic majorities in the Oregon House and Senate, and chosen Tina Kotek to serve as our next Governor!

Oregon voters rewarded our past accomplishments – protecting the right to abortion, raising the minimum wage, making historic investments in education, and fighting to lower the price of prescription drugs.

And Oregon voters supported our vision for the future – a healthy Oregon, an equitable Oregon, an educated Oregon, a safer Oregon, a working Oregon, and a clean and green Oregon.

Democracy is a bold and unending project of renewal. It's how we hold our leaders accountable and how we decide our common path together.

Oregon voters rejected a right-wing attempt to buy our elections, and they amended our Constitution to demand that legislators show up every day to do the work of governing our state.

That's democracy.

For months now, my fellow Senate Democrats have woken up every single day to work hard, connect with voters, and speak with passion about the values that bind us together.

I am so very proud of every single one of them.

I'm thankful to you, Kari, and to every single person who joined us in this campaign. We could not have done it without the time, energy, and financial support that was so generously given every time we asked. (And asked, and asked, and asked.)
